HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained six Palestinians overnight Monday in raids across the West Bank, the army said.
An Israeli military spokesman said six people were detained in Qabatiya near Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah and Hebron. They were taken for "security questioning," he said.
Women's rights activist Amani al-Khandaqji, 27, was among those detained, her father said.
Nasser al-Khandaqji told Ma'an that troops raided his home in Nablus and detained his daughter, who is a graduate of Al-Najah University. His son, Bassem al-Khandagji, has been in Israeli detention since 2004 and is sentenced to life.
Amani's uncle Khaled al-Khandaqji said troops also raided his home at around 2 a.m.
Meanwhile, locals in Halhul, north of Hebron, said Motaz Sawawra, 32, was detained from his home.
