On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded many communities across the occupied West Bank, searched and ransacked dozens of homes before abducting nine Palestinians, and wounding two others.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched a few homes in the city, and abducted a journalist, Mos’ab Qfeisha, in addition to Fayyad Shabana.
The soldiers also invaded many neighborhoods in Hebron and broke into a shop in the city’s southern area.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted former political prisoner, Fakhr Aahed Rantisi, from Rantis village, Mousa Hamed, from Silwad town, Ahmad Shaher Na’san, from the al-Mughayyir village, and Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Srour, from Ni’lin town, after the army invaded and ransacked many homes in the governorate.
Also, several Israeli army jeeps invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and the Hindaza area, east of the city, in the occupied West Bank, leading to protests before the soldiers shot two young men and abducted three others.
The abducted Palestinians are Karim Mustafa al-Atrash, 61, and his son Mohammad, 28, from Deheishe refugee camp, and Ja’far Mohammad Obeyyat, 32, from Hindaza.
In related news, the soldiers installed many roadblocks on the main roads linking Jenin city with various surrounding villages and towns in the northern part of the West Bank, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Dozens of soldiers were also deployed around the villages of al-Jalama, Deir Ghazala, Arrana, Deir Abu Da’if, Arbouna, and the eastern meadows area of Jenin.
