On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded many communities across the occupied West Bank, violently searched homes, and abducted twelve Palestinians.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers searched many homes in the city and abducted three Palestinians, Abdul-Samad Mohammad Abu Ramouz, Abdul-Mo’ez Mohammad Abu Ramouz, and Ahmad Yassir Khatib.
The soldiers also invaded the al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron, searched homes, and abducted Issa Nidal Abu Ghazi.
In addition, several army jeeps invaded the al-Jawaya community in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, violently searched many homes, and abducted Mohammad Ahmad Shawahin.
In Tulkarem, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Islam Abu Shanab, former political prisoners Mohammad Abu Leefa, and Amjad Hamshari.
In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Habla town, south of the city, and abducted Tamer Kifah Shahwan, 24, after storming his home and ransacking it.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, and abducted Wahid Walid Salama from his home.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted two children, Mohammad Ala Husseini and Yousef Sa’ad Husseini, from their homes in the Old City.
The soldiers also invaded Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at Palestinians, who protested the invasion, and many surrounding buildings.
In related news, an Israeli court sentenced Fadi Elian, one of the civilian guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, to three years in prison.
Fadi, a married father of four children, was abducted on December 21, 2021, after the army demolished his flat and several flats of his family members, in addition to one shed, and uprooted his land.
