On Monday, an Israeli court denied an appeal against the demolition orders of Palestinian residential tents for Bedouins in the Khirbat Ibziq village, north of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank.
The head of Khirbat Ibziq Village Council, Abdul-Majid Khdeirat, told the Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) that the appeal was filed by lawyers working for the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission.
The appeal was filed after the Israeli army invaded the community and handed demotion orders targeting fifteen residential tents in the village.
The families in Khirbat Ibziq could be displaced and their belongings confiscated at any given moment after losing the appeal.
Earlier this month, the soldiers invaded Khirbat Ibziq, searched residential tents, and confiscated a Palestinian car.
The village is also subject to frequent Israeli invasions and demolition of structures and property, especially since the community and surrounding areas are frequently used as training grounds for the Israeli occupation army.
