On Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted nine Palestinians from several parts of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the al-Isawiya town northeast of Jerusalem, leading to protests.

They added that many young men hurled stones and used fireworks against the invading soldiers, who fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and rubber-coated steel bullets.

The soldiers abducted Mohammad Kamal Obeid during the protests after assaulting him and macing him with pepper spray.

The soldiers also invaded Jabal al-Mokabber, southeast of Jerusalem, searched many homes, and abducted six young men.

In Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the soldiers abducted two young men from their homes in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood.

In related news, the Israeli army and the police continued their invasions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque for the sixth consecutive day and injured 31 Palestinians, including two who suffered life-threatening wounds.
