Israeli forces stormed, before dawn on Wednesday, the village of Bi’lin west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, and arrested four young men, in addition to shooting a number of family members, according to local sources.
The sources said the army invaded the village before dawn, stormed Palestinian civilian homes and detained four young men identified as Jihad Yassin, Bara’a Burnat, Yamen Burnat, and Yassin Abu Rahma from their homes in the village.
During the incursion, soldiers opened fire at family members of the young men, injuring at least three family members of Jihad Yassin.
Soldiers shot and injured Abdullah Yassin – (uncle of Jihad), Bassem Yassin – (father of Jihad), and Qamar Al Khatib – (mother of Jihad), before retreating from the village at 4:30 am.
It is unknown where the young men were taken, and the condition of the injured family members was not available at the time of this report.
