HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 12 Palestinians early Wednesday, including three teenagers from the Hebron governorate.
Soldiers seized Zein Abu Hashem 15, Sami Abu Joda, 15, and Saed Sleibi, 16, from their homes in Beit Ummar, media spokesman for the popular committee Muhammad Awad said.
To Hebron's south, troops detained Fadi Samir Abu Hmeid, 17, Muhammad al-Damiri, 20 and Hani al-Shaabin, in Yatta overnight.
Locals told Ma'an Husan Al-Qawasmi, 30, and Khamis al-Natsheh, 22, were seized in Hebron city.
Near Qalqiliya, troops seized Muhammad Badwan, 17, from Azzun village in the early hours, launching tear gas and sound bombs during the raid.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said 12 were detained in the West Bank overnight, including one in Azzun, three in Beit Ummar, two in Yatta, and five near Ramallah. She was not aware of any detentions in Hebron city.
