Israeli soldiers invaded, on Friday at dawn, Bethlehem city and nearby Husan town, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, and abducted two Palestinians. Protests were reported after several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
Media sources in Bethlehem said the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, searched homes, and abducted a young man, identified as Ahmad Sameeh Taqatqa, 28.
They added that the soldiers also invaded Husan town, west of Bethlehem, searched a few homes, and abducted Mahmoud Tha’er Abu al-‘Adas.
The soldiers also invaded the home of Hassanein Shouka, near the Manger Square in Bethlehem city, and searched the property while looking for his son, Hasan, who was not at home.
Another home, owned by Anas Isamel Nawawra, in the Jabal al-Mawaleh area, in the center of Bethlehem city, was also invaded and violently searched by the soldiers.
In related news, a large number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded several neighborhoods in Ramallah city, leading to massive protests.
On Thursday at night, the Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that a young man has died from serious wounds he suffered after Israeli soldiers attacked protesters on Palestinian lands near the perimeter fence, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The slain Palestinian has been identified as Ahmad Mustafa Mahmoud Saleh, 26, from the Jabalia refugee camp.
