Israeli fighter jets, on Sunday at midnight, fired several missiles at sites in the besieged Gaza Strip, Quds News Network reports.
It stated that the renewed airstrikes are the fifth incident where Israel breached the May 21, 2021 Egypt brokered ceasefire between the occupation state and the various resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.
It added that Israeli warplanes struck agricultural land and two other sites in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Another site was also struck in the north-west area of the tiny coastal enclave.
No injuries were reported.
In related news, a faction of the Palestinian resistance, on Sunday night, shot an Israeli drone (quadcopter) out of the sky as it flew over the southern Gaza Strip, QNN reported.
The resistance managed to shoot down the occupation drone and seize it when it fell to the ground in Khuza’a in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
The Gaza Strip is home to more than two million Palestinians, living under a brutal Israeli blockade, since 2007, which has caused an ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
Between May 10 and May 21, the occupation state unleashed a vicious attack, with a heavy barrage of missiles and artillery shells at the Gaza Strip, killing 230 Palestinians and injuring 1383.
