WEST BANK, February 16, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday arrested seven Palestinians across the West Bank, according to local and security sources.
Sources said that Israeli Forces arrested three Palestinians, including an officer of the Palestinian national security forces, from different areas in Hebron after storming and searching several houses.
Forces also set up military checkpoints at several towns’ entrances in Hebron.
In Jenin, forces arrested a former Palestinian prisoner, released in the second and final phase of the Gilad Shalit prisoners’ exchange swap between Israel and Hamas.
Israeli forces have recently re-arrested several released prisoners throughout the West Bank.
Israeli forces Wednesday night arrested three Palestinians, two 16 year-old and 17, from the village of Bil'in, west of Ramallah and took them to the Benjamin Police Station, located near the village of Jaba near Ramallah, according to the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in.
