Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, four Palestinians, including siblings and a former political prisoner, in the Jenin governorate, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers invaded Jenin city, in addition to the towns of Burqin, Arraba, and Qabatia, before storming and ransacking homes.
Montaser Sammour, the head of the PPS office in Jenin, said the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Mona Hussein Qa’dan, 50, from her home in Arraba town, southwest of Jenin.
Sammour added that the soldiers also abducted Mohammad Samir Abu ‘Obeid, and his brother Ramez, from their home in Jenin city, in addition to a former political prisoner, identified as Yazan Atef Obeidi, from Bruqin town, west of Jenin.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted four young Palestinian men in Jerusalem, and two in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
In related news, the soldiers abducted ten Palestinians from the same family in Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, after the army stormed and ransacked many homes.
