Soldiers arrest 5 in Jenin

ENIN (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces raided a construction site in the Jenin village of Yaabad on Sunday evening and detained five people, witnesses told Ma'an.Subhi Ali Abu Bakr said that Israeli soldiers detained his sons Firas, 26, and Muhammad, 24, along with three laborers who were working in a building under construction.
He identified the laborers as Mahran Walid Abu Bakr, Kiwan Abu Bakr and his brother Muhammad Abu Bakr.
Israeli soldiers told Abu Bakr that the men were arrested in connection to a suspected stone throwing incident earlier on Sunday.
All detainees were taken to the nearby Mevo Dotan settlement.
An Israeli army spokeswoman was unaware of the incident.
