Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Tuesday, 27 Palestinians during extensive and violent searches of homes across the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.
The PPS office in Jenin, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted Morad Walid Malaysha, Mohammad Mahmoud Alawna, and Morad Mohammad Fashafsha, from Jaba’ town, southwest of Jenin, in addition to Shadi Abdul-Rauf Sbeihat, from Rommana Village, west of Jenin, while he was in Jericho city.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Ibrahim Suleiman Da’dou, 21, in addition to Mahmoud Ahmad Issa, 21, from the al-Khader town, south of the city.
In the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and al-Biereh, the soldiers abducted Majd Jarrar, 30, from the al-Biereh city, Sa’ad Zalloum, 22, from Ein Misbah neighborhood in Ramallah city, and Mohammad Suleiman Kanaan, 39, from Birzeit city.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ali Abdul-Ghaffar Dofash, 29, from his home in Ein Sara neighborhood.
In Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Khaled Adnan az-Zibda, Mansour Dheiliyya, and a former political prisoner, Amjad Walid Na’alwa, 37, in addition to Mahmoud Mhanna, from Shweika area.
The soldiers also abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Mahdi Hasan Hamed, 29, in addition to Ahmad Samara, from Bal’a town, east of Tulkarem.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Malek Bilal Eshteyya, 27, and Assem Jamil Eshteyya, 26, from Rafidia neighborhood, in addition to Mousa Mohammad Dweikat, from Balata town.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Rabea’ Sayyad, 42, and Eid Shabana, 21, from the at-Tour town, in addition to Tareq Marwan Obeid, 21, from Obeid neighborhood in the al-‘Isawiya town, and the head of the Women’s Center in Shu’fat refugee camp Jihad Abu Zneid.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Naji Zghayyar, in addition to three siblings, identified as Mustafa, Abdullah and Ro’a Bilala, after assaulting them in Bab al-Majlis (Council Gate) area, in the occupied Palestinian capital of Jerusalem.
