The Palestinian Information Ministry has reported that Israeli soldiers have killed seven Palestinian children in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, since the beginning of this year.

The ministry stated that the Israeli violations against Palestinian children since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifada on September 28th, 2000, until the ender of November 2019, have led to the death of more than 3097 children, in addition to thousands who were injured.

123 Palestinian children have been killed, and thousands have been injured, some seriously, by Israeli fire since U.S. President D. Trump recognized occupied Jerusalem as the unified capital of Israel on December 6, 2017.

Furthermore, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Detainees Committee, have confirmed that the soldiers abducted 304 Palestinian children since the beginning of 2020, compared to 745 who were taken prisoner in 2019.

The number of Palestinian children who were detained or imprisoned by the soldiers since December 6, 2017, exceeded 17000, including 264 who were taken prisoner from January 1. 2020, and March 31, 2020.

In addition, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) in occupied Jerusalem, has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted 1057 Palestinians in the period between January 1st, and June 30th, 2020, in Jerusalem alone.

Among the abducted Palestinians are 57 women, 202 children, including two girls, and five children under the age of 12.

Silwanic added that the soldiers abducted 181 Palestinian children from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, since the beginning of June 2020. The number of children who are still imprisoned by Israel exceeds 155.
