Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, nineteen Palestinians from their homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources in Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers invaded Bal’a town, northeast of Tulkarem city, searched and ransacked many homes, before abducting eight Palestinians.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Palestinians identified as Mohammad Emad Barabra, 32, Talal Abu Yassin, Atiya Wa’el Mahmoud, in addition to five former political prisoners, identified as Ja’far Ayman Shahrour, Tha’er Rida Mer’ey, Nasser Khalil Abu Dayya, Talal Abu Yassin and Essam Ghazi Jeetawi, 49.
The soldiers also invaded Deir al-Ghusun town, northeast of Tulkarem, before storming and searching homes, and summoned several young men for interrogation.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Deir al-Hatab town, east of Nablus, in northern West Bank, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Salman Omran Abu Ahmad, after ransacking his home, causing excessive damage.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, searched a few homes and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Kamel Jalal Nakhla, in addition to Fadi ‘Oleyyan, Maher Dalaysha and Yacoub Hussein.
The soldiers also invaded and searched homes in Safa village, north of Ramallah, before abducting Ghassan Husam Karaja, 30, and his brother Rami, 20.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, the soldiers invaded Teqoua’ town and Harmala village, east of the city, searched homes, before abducting three Palestinians, including two siblings, identified as Ahmad Mahmoud Abu Mfarreh, 18, and his brother Mohammad, 19, in addition to Salem Mahmoud Sabah, 47.
In Salfit governorate, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Laith Rayyan, from his home in Qarawat Bani Hassan village, northwest of Salfit city.
In related news, the soldiers installed a military roadblock at the main entrance of Deir Ballout town, west of the central west Bank city of Salfit, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
