Israeli soldiers injured, Friday, many Palestinians, and abducted one medic, when the army and illegal colonists attacked a nonviolent procession protesting the installation of a new outpost on their lands, near Ramallah, in central West Bank.
Media sources said the Palestinians marched from the village heading to Ras at-Teen area, in Kafr Malek village, east of Ramallah, where the colonists installed a new illegal outpost.
They added that Israeli soldiers and colonists attacked the protesters, and fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at them.
One Palestinian, the head of the Popular and Steadfastness Activities of the Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission, Abdullah Abu Rahma, was shot with a high-velocity gas bomb in the shoulder.
Many Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, in addition to cuts and bruises.
The soldiers also abducted a medic, identified as Mohammad Hussein Hamed, 26, while providing medical attention to the wounded Palestinians.
It is worth mentioning that the illegal Israeli colonists have recently installed a new outpost on large areas of private Palestinian lands, belonging to the villagers, in the Ras at-Teen area.
In related news, Israeli colonists installed a tent and water tanks on Palestinian lands in Jaloud village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
The colonists also fenced the Palestinian lands, located in Jabal ar-Rahma Mountain, south of Jaloud.
