Illegal Israeli settlers cut 50 olive saplings belonging to Palestinians, on Sunday, in the town of al-Khader, near the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local source.

Head of the Colonization Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Hasan Breijieh, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that settlers from the nearby illegal Israeli settlement of Sidi Boaz, chopped off 50 olive saplings owned by a local villager.

In related news, Israeli settlers, on March 28, cut down 300 olive trees on Palestinian owned land between the southern West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Hebron.

On March 10, 2020 Israeli forces uprooted hundreds of olive saplings in the Palestinian village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem.

Whether illegal colonial settlers or Israeli military forces, Palestinians in the occupied West Bank are subject to frequent attacks on their property.

Israeli rights group B’Tselem states that; International Humanitarian Law establishes that the people who lived in the occupied territory prior to the occupation are considered “protected persons” and may not be subjected to collective punishment or violence, their private property may not be confiscated, their dignity may not be violated and they may not be expelled from their homes.
