Israeli soldiers demolished, on Tuesday morning, an under-construction Covid-19 testing center in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Ra’ed Maswadi, the owner of the land where the testing facility was being built said it was dedicated for Covid-19 testing by the Palestinian Health Ministry.

He added that the facility, at the northern entrance of Hebron city, was supposed to provide rapid testing service to reduce the overwhelming pressure on Palestinian hospitals, especially amidst the dangerously increasing number of Palestinians testing positive for the virus.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also confiscated medical equipment from the area, prior to demolishing the facility.
