Israeli troops reportedly abducted, early on Monday, several Palestinians in different areas of the occupied West Bank.

In the city of Hebron, troops invaded the Beit Ewwa village and broke into some local homes, before they abducted three youths, identified as Mohammad, Mohammd and Wael Al-Ehroob.

Local eyewitnesses said that the soldiers stormed and vandalized their homes, before they abducted and transferred them to unknown destinations.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops in the Taqou’ village, southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, broke into the home of Mohammad Alemoor and abducted the 22-year-old son of Mohammad, Mousa Alemoor.

Witnesses said that Israel forces inspected the home, before they took Mousa to an unknown destination.

Concurrently, local sources in the Bethlehem district said that both young men Mohammad Taha and Diya Zaghloul, from the villages of Nhalaeen and Housan, were released on Monday morning, by orders of an Israeli military court.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops in the internationally-recognized occupied East Jerusalem, abducted a Palestinian resident from the Ras Alamoud or the Damascus Gate neighborhood, after those troops invaded the neighborhood and broke into the man’s home.

Witnesses said that the abducted Palestinian resident is identified as Ahmad Abu Nab. They added that the troops handcuffed Ahmad and took him to a detention center in the occupied Arab part of the city.

Noteworthy, since the beginning of this year, Israeli troops have abducted hundreds of Palestinian residents from various neighborhoods of the internationally-recognized occupied East Jerusalem.

Since early January, Israeli authorities have reportedly imposed more restrictions on tens of thousands of Palestinian inhabitants of East Jerusalem.

Commentators believe that those restrictions have something to do with the USA’s declaration of ‘deal of the century’ vision for peace in the region, which further backs Israel’s sovereignty over East Jerusalem that Israel occupied in 1967.

According to Palestinian sources, Israel holds around 5,000 Palestinians inside more than 20 detention centers and jails, in Israel and the West Bank. Among those prisoners are 41 female and 180 juveniles under the age of 18.
