Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, twelve Palestinians, including children, after the army stormed and ransacked many homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.
The PPS said the soldiers invaded and searched homes in Beit Doqqo and Qotna towns, in Jerusalem governorate, and abducted three Palestinians.
It stated that the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Ziad Abdul-Salam Taha, from Qotna, in addition to Karm Mohammad Morrar and Mohammad Shaher Morrar, from Beit Doqqo.
The soldiers also invaded the al-‘Oja town, near Jericho, and abducted Ala’ Jamil Jaraheed, 24, Abdul-Mon’em Khaled Jaraheed, 17, Haitham Awwad Jaraheed, 36, in addition to Ahmad Ismael Hdeib, 17.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ramez Hashash and Ali Odah, from their homes in Balata refugee camp. The soldiers also detained Bashar Abdul-Hafith Mleitat but released him a few hours later.
In Jenin, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted ‘Ala Abdul-Karim al-Betawi, 21.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ashraf Samir Kifaya, 19, from his home.
The soldiers also detained two siblings, identified as Sa’ad and Soheib Ataya, but released them shortly afterward.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted Ali Mahmoud Allan, 14, from ‘Aida refugee camp, north of the city. The child is still recovering from a traffic accident that took place a few months ago.
The soldiers also invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, searched homes and summoned Khalil Abu Najma, Jamil Ragheb Lahham and Ma’moun Hussein Lahham, for interrogation in Etzion military base.
