Israeli police detained, on Saturday, a Palestinian woman at Damascus Gate, at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, in Jerusalem, after an alleged attempted stabbing attack, the Palestinian News and Info Agency reported.
Witnesses stated that several police officers at the heavily fortified gate jumped the female worshiper, whose identity was not immediately known, before taking her away in handcuffs.
Police closed Damascus Gate as well as nearby streets and prevented people from entering or leaving the Old City after the incident.
Two videos below show the brutal handling of the woman, however no evidence of an attempted stabbing is noted.

Israeli soldiers abducted, Saturday, a Palestinian woman at Damascus Gate, one of the gates of the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem, allegedly after she attempted to stab them.
Media sources said the many soldiers jumped at the woman near the heavily fortified military gate, and detained her, before moving her to an unknown destination.
There have been no reports of injuries among the soldiers, or anybody else, in the incident.
The soldiers then closed Damascus Gate and all nearby streets, before preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving the Old City.
According to the Israeli Ynet News the woman “brandished the knife near Damascus Gate,” and that “a civilian aided the police in detaining her,” before she was moved to an interrogation facility.
