Israeli soldiers demolished, Thursday, two Palestinian homes in Kisan village, east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, south of occupied East Jerusalem in the West Bank.

Saddam ‘Obeyyat, the head of Kisan Village Council, said many army vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the village and demolished two homes.

He added that one of the demolished homes was 150 square meters, and was owned by Ayman Yacoub Ghazal along with his family of four.

‘Obeyyat also stated that the second home, 120 square meters, was under construction, and was owned by Ayman’s brother, Amjad.

It is worth mentioning that, twenty days ago, the army handed the family demolition orders targeting their homes, under the pretext of not being licensed by the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of Israel’s illegal military occupation. The properties received the needed permits from the Local Council in the village.

Many Palestinians protested the invasion and demolitions, and the soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets, causing many, especially children on their way to school, to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
